Who We Are

In 2005, brothers Arni Thor Jonsson and Larus Jonsson founded Republik Film Productions. The company quickly grew into one of Iceland's leading production companies, winning numerous awards and providing expert production services to clients from all over the world.

Arni Thor and Larus work side by side managing the company, each bringing decades of experience in filmmaking to every project. Alongside their work at Republik, both brothers continue their successful directing careers and manage a range of television programmes.

Republik's staff and affiliates are seasoned industry professionals with decades of experience under their belts. Highly capable and deeply familiar with every aspect of production, they approach each project with a dedicated state of mind and a firm belief that no project is impossible.
